Fellow Profile: Michele Saunders
English Teacher, Durham School of the Arts
Community is accountability. At TeachHouse it feels great to be in community with other teachers who I know that I can hold accountable for the safety and transformative learning of students in Durham. These teachers also provide me with a standard of accountability--in this space I've found wise counsel, friendship, and a place of safety.
Michele Saunders is a second year TeachHouse fellow and Resident Mentor.
