Welcome to the TeachHouse Photo Galleries!
Below you will find scenes and treasured memories from Duke TeachHouse over the years. From our launch in 2015, to the many community dinners and receptions we've held with leading educators and business leaders, to the day to day life of fellows in the classroom and around Durham--we hope to share the vibrant community we've built and maintain together as passionate educators.
Community Dinners & Receptions with Leading Educators & Business Leaders
An integral part of the TeachHouse fellowship experience is building connections with local leading educators, policy makers, and business leaders. Through these conversations, often held around the dinner table, fellows broaden their understanding of education at the local, national, and international level; discuss their work in the classroom and gain insight from experienced educators; and even offer their own insights into how to address important issues in education today.
Fellows in the Classroom
As early career teachers, our fellows spend a lot of time in their classrooms planning, teaching, mentoring, and collaborating. Over the past 5 years, TeachHouse fellows have collectively impacted thousands of students in Durham and Wake counties both inside their own classrooms and through leadership roles of student clubs, sports, PTA organizations, and more. Check out this gallery to see our fellows in action!
Fellows At Home & Around Durham
Outside of teaching and community dinners, TeachHouse fellows enjoy spending time at home and around Durham. Check out this gallery to see some of our favorite memories over the years of holiday celebrations, coffee dates, annual retreats, and fun at home.
