Project HOPE

The purpose of Project HOPE was to work with community partners in the low income, minority neighborhoods identified by the Duke-Durham Neighborhood Partnership (DDNP) in the organization of resources to meet the stated goals of the individual neighborhoods. Each of the community partners identified by the DDNP expressed a need for community-based afterschool programs that would collaborate with Duke University in the organization of resources to develop and maintain the afterschool programs.
