This project represents a partnership between the Program in Education and Durham Public Schools and supports the personal renewal, professional growth, and teacher leadership of mid-career teachers. Since its inception in 2006, this initiative has served approximately 100 teachers from 46 schools in Durham including elementary, middle, and high schools. The Center supports ongoing research to evaluate teacher satisfaction and retention during this critical mid-career period.
