Program in Education
From March 21-24, please join the Program in Education as we host a series of conversations entitled Unveiling Inequities: Teaching for "Truth" or "Truths"?. Throughout the week, we will explore the debate over what can be taught, read, and discussed in school -- and what we can do about it. The first session on Monday, March 21, will provide an introduction to critical race theory and its relevance in the current climate. The week's discussions will build on this conversation, and will feature speakers/stakeholders from different points within the education system. All members of the Duke community are welcome to attend the conversations, either in-person or via Zoom.
